Process Description:
Raw material air is put through a filter to remove dust and mechanical matter, inhaled by air filter from the atmosphere to remove dust and other mechanical impurities. Air is compressed to 1.0 MPa(G) by air compressor, and it goes to purifier after its condensed water is separated in water separator via pre-cooler. There are two adsorbers that work alternatively, i.e. one vessel is adsorbing the impurities while the other regenerates and blows off.

Then the clean high-pressure air is divided into two streams after it enters main heat exchanger (upper) to exchange heat with oxygen, nitrogen and waste gas from main heat exchanger (lower). One stream enters the expander, and the other goes to lower column bottom via throttling valve after it enters main heat exchanger (lower) to exchange heat with oxygen, nitrogen and waste gas from rectification column again. Pure liquid nitrogen and oxygen-enriched liquid are produced at the top and bottom of lower column after the first distillation respectively. Oxygen enriched liquid is sent to middle part of upper column for second distillation after throttling. Then pure nitrogen is produced at the top of upper column and oxygen is produced at the bottom of it. The waste gas taken from middle part of upper column is used for regeneration and blow-off of purifier after sub-cooler and main heat exchanger recover coldness, and product oxygen and nitrogen are sent out of cold box for usage.
